La Tramun returns in 2026 as one of the major international mountain bike events. Integrated into the sports program of Sea Otter Europe Costa Brava Girona, this year’s edition once again hosts a HERO UCI Marathon World Cup race, bringing together some of the world’s best specialists alongside hundreds of riders from the UCI and Open categories.
Starting from Les Planes d’Hostoles and finishing at the Fontajau Pavilion in Girona, La Tramun retains all its essence: a spectacular traverse through the trails of La Garrotxa and Les Guilleries, combining technical sections, demanding climbs, and descents that will test both the endurance and skill of the participants.
The 2026 edition offers two distances so that each cyclist can choose the challenge that best suits their level:
La Tramun World Cup / UCI / Open: 88.51 km and 2,416 m of positive elevation gain.
La Tramun Curta: 50.17 km and 1,155 m of positive elevation gain.
Whether you are an elite rider or simply want to enjoy one of Catalonia’s most emblematic MTB marathons, La Tramun awaits you with a demanding course, a privileged environment, and the incomparable atmosphere of Sea Otter Europe.
ROUTE
La Tramun 2026 maintains its essence with a spectacular route between Les Planes d’Hostoles and Girona, combining technical trails, fast tracks, and some of the most emblematic landscapes of La Garrotxa and Les Guilleries.
The long distance, shared by the World Cup, UCI, and Open categories, offers 88.51 km with 2,416 meters of positive elevation gain, while La Tramun Curta proposes a route of 50.17 km and 1,155 meters of positive elevation gain, incorporating the final kilometers of the main course.
Participants will find several aid stations distributed along the route and a finish line at the Fontajau Pavilion, within the Sea Otter Europe venue.
