What is La Tramun?

The Tramun is not just a mountain bike race. It is a high-level challenge recognized by the UCI, with an unparalleled route that combines spectacular landscapes and technical trails that test the endurance and technique of the cyclists.

Starting in Les Planes d’Hostoles and finishing in Girona, La Tramun offers 82 km with almost 3,000 meters of accumulated elevation gain . But what really makes it unique is its essence: more than 80% of the route runs along paths , consolidating it as the “singletrack marathon” par excellence.

Year after year, it attracts cyclists from all over the world. La Tramun is an international event with a local soul, combining elite sport, passion for the territory and an authentic atmosphere. In addition to the main event, La Tramun Kids and the XCC version are also held, designed for different levels and ages.

It’s more than a race: it’s a collective project, about sustainability and territory. The trails are maintained throughout the year thanks to volunteerism, organization and love for a land that is lived by pedaling.

La Tramun 2026 returns with a demanding and spectacular route, designed for those seeking a true MTB experience. With around 89 km and 2,750 metres of elevation gain, the course keeps the essence of the race: toughness, technique and stunning landscapes.

The race will start in Les Planes d’Hostoles, with an opening section that already sets the tone for the day. Most of the climbing is concentrated in the first part of the route, starting with a rolling section that leads into a second demanding ascent. After a short break, riders will face the main challenge of the day: a long climb starting at km 33, stretching for almost 10 kilometres of continuous physical effort.

For those who want to experience La Tramun with a more moderate challenge, this year also offers the Tramun Sea Otter Europe Short Distance, a 45 km route designed to enjoy the World Cup atmosphere in a more accessible format (Open category).

Whatever your challenge, La Tramun doesn’t just test you: it leaves a mark.
